Why We Exist
We started with a
simple belief.
The snacks that defined an evening in the South — the ones that came in a brass dabba, smelled of coconut oil, and disappeared over a single round of filter coffee — were quietly being replaced by something cheaper, blander, and harder to pronounce.
We didn't want to invent anything new. We wanted to make sure the recipes our grandmothers cooked weren't lost to a margin sheet. So we make them, in small batches, the only way we know how.
