About Dravya
A celebration of the kitchens, courtyards, and grandmothers who shaped the way the South snacks — and a quiet promise to do right by them.
A heritage worth carrying
South Indian snacks are not a category — they are a culture. Crispy murukku coiled by hand on banana leaves. Mixtures tossed with curry leaves still warm from the tree. Recipes passed down through whispers, weddings, and weekend afternoons. That heritage is what we wake up for.
The problem we saw
Over 85% of India's snack market is still unorganised.
That means inconsistent quality, opaque ingredients, and very little accountability to the people who actually buy and eat these snacks every day. For something so loved, so personal — it deserved better.
Where Dravya fits in
We source carefully, label clearly, and make in small batches so nothing leaves our kitchen that we wouldn't serve at our own table. No mystery oils, no padded shelf-life, no shortcuts dressed up as tradition. Just snacks made the way they were meant to be — and a brand you can actually hold to a standard.
Our promise
"To carry the heritage of the South forward — honestly, openly, and one hand-crafted batch at a time."
